The Community Advisory Board for five of ASAP's 21st Century Community Learning Centers was held May 5 at Stevens Middle School. ASAP site directors and students teamed up with parents to offer suggestions and support for the after school programs and more. Dance, cheerleading, and science projects were also displayed by students from Langston, Long, and Stevens middle schools.
The programs are funded through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and receive additional support from the St. Louis City Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry.
