ARCHS is pleased to announce it has received two grants from Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis and The Herbert A. and Adrian W. Woods Foundation that will add a combined value of $17,500 towards the betterment of the Greater St. Louis area.
Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis awarded ARCHS with $10,000 to provide strategic management support to St. Louis Alliance for Reentry (STAR) as it connects re-entry individuals to agencies working in coordination to strengthen the delivery of human and social services. The mission of STAR is to integrate successful intervention principles and practices resulting in collaborative partnerships that enhance ex-offender self-sufficiency, reduce recidivism, and improve public safety and community health in St. Louis City and County.
In addition, The Herbert A. and Adrian W. Woods Foundation awarded ARCHS with $7,500 to support the After School for All Partnership for St. Louis (ASAP). Since 2007, ASAP has made a dramatic impact on the lives of St. Louis area students, parents, educators and after school professionals.
